Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs has admitted that he used to hate Liverpool when he was young.The Welsh turned pro at his 17th birthday Nov. 29, 1990, at a time when Liverpool dominated the domestic circuit.But the Merseyside club have since failed to win a championship, that their triumph in 1990 under the guidance of Kenny Dalglish has not been repeated by any of his successors.But United, however, rose sharply under Sir Alex Ferguson as they have since won 11 league titles, four FA Cups and three League Cups.In European and intercontinental Giggs was part of teams that won the Champions League twice, while winning the UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup and Club World Cup on each occasion ."I was really lucky to be part of the time the most successful United," he told CNN."We were stuck in the throat and Liverpool were to win and I just grew up as a fan who hates United."
